These high-rises are built on platforms over currently functioning railways, making it an engineering and technological feat unseen in the modern era. More than ten years in the making, this master-planned, mixed-use community is seen as a mini-city in and of itself. Hudson Yards will soon feature thousands of luxury apartments, along with numerous office and retail space. New shops and restaurants are set to welcome customers continuously over the next few years and several excellent options are already open and ready for business. While Hudson Yards is only a few blocks from Penn Station, it is served by its own 7-line subway station.
